A Micropile is a small-diameter (usually fewer than 12 inches), drilled and grouted alternative pile that generally is reinforced. A micropile is manufactured by drilling a borehole, positioning reinforcement, and grouting the outlet. Micropiles can withstand axial and/or lateral hundreds, and will be thought of a substitute for standard piles
